Another winter layout with Magical Winter by Katrins Design

It has been very cold in the Netherlands the last weeks. So there was ice! And ice in the Netherlands means that everybody is ice skating!! These photos are taken last Sunday near our house. For this layout I used the kit Magical Winter by Katrins Design. It's available at Scrapladies. I just love the magical elements in this kit!

This is me with my accordeon playing for the grandmother of my husband. Her birthday was on January 1th. I didn't play for at least 20 years until 2 years ago. But since 2 years ago I haven't played either. So I'm a bit rusty. But since this birthday I try to play half an hour every day and it's getting better and better.

Isn't Thijn a cutie on this photo! Brenda Smith's new kit Frog Prince is perfect for this photo! I also used her Glitter News Alpha, it's a great combination! The kit is good for boy photos but it has also enough elements and papers for a girly page!

This winter layout is made with the kit Magical Winter by Katrins Design. I have guested for her some months ago, but now she is selling at Scrapladies. So I chose this wonderful winter kit to work with the next two weeks. For this layout I used the lighter colored paper and elements. Isn't that snowman cute?!

Happy New Year!!

I'm very happy 2008 is over, it was a terrible year for us. I really hope 2009 will be much better and that Manfred will recover from his injuries.
We had a quiet evening, but the end of it was not fun. Some of our neighbours where putting their firework trash on fire very very close to our garage. And the wind was blowing in that direction. I asked them to stop it and as they didn't want to, then to do it some meters aside, but they were laughing about it. Probably they were drunk. So we couldn't get to bed before that fire was out. We were a bit afraid that the garage would get on fire with our car and motorbike in it.
