Thursday it's Queensday again in Holland, and as you probably know (who don't?) it's a total orange colored chaos in the Netherlands then. Next Day it's my own birthday. Two reasons to treat you in a special way. From me. To you.... Are you 1 of the first 40 customers? Then you can take 40% off all the stuff at Studio Berna @ ScrapbookGraphics.
I got the opportunity to play around with Beyond the Sea by Damayanti Studio! Wow, what an awesome kit!!!! It's loaded with wonderful elements in different styles, so you can create sea/beach layouts in so many different ways. You also get a free set of wordart that matches with the kit perfectly!
Finally an other layout with Wake me Up and Green Fingers by Berna Datema. Both fun kits to work with and perfect to mix with each other. I also used the Kitschgarden Light Blue Alpha and the Eye Love You Old Frames vol. 1, also by Berna Datema (Scrapbookgraphics.com). Especially the doodles of Green Fingers are so great!
I always love to go to the zoo. The last couple of years I visited Artis (the zoo in Amsterdam) several times. I always walk around with my telezoom lens on my DSLR and love to take close ups. But here I chose some lion photos I took before my DSLR-time. This beautiful lion was posing just perfect! For this layout I used the fun kit Safari by Shien Designs (Scrapladies). There are some real fun elements in this kit and I just love the alpha!
Also this layout is made with the kits Wake my Up and Green Fingers by Berna Datema. I used some photos of a little Italian town that was destroyed by an earthquake (terremoto in Italian) in 1976. After the earthquake last week in Italy I often think of what happened in Friuli in 1976, the part of Italy where my family lives.
Berna is such a hard working designer! She nearly finished the Green Finger kit and now Wake me Up is in the shop already! You can find both kits at Scrapbookgraphics. This one I made with the Wake me Up kit and some doodles from Green Fingers. The stitched frame is from Eye Love You Old Frames vol. 2, also by Berna Datema.
Finally, this is a kit I've been waiting for very long! I couldn't find a 'work in the garden' kit anywhere, so I've asked Berna Datema a couple of weeks ago if she could make one. And she did! I'm so happy with all the beautiful elements she made! This Green Fingers kit is soon available at Scrapbookgraphics, but I couldn't wait to show you something with it!
This is a little experiment inspired by a layout of Juliegoodgirl, also guesting for Lorie Davison. I used the following kits by Lorie: Bunnies, Bees and the Bird's Big Balloon/Flitting Fall Faeries/ Rough to the Touch and I found the photo at Deviant. I really love the result!
For Scrapladies I work with the beautiful kit Fairy Dreams in the Fall by Urban Mermaid Designs. She also made the kit Fairy Dreams in the Spring and Kate (UMD) asked me to work with that kit too! So here's my first layout made with this lovely Spring kit. You can get it at Scrapladies and Scrapdish.
Here's a totally different layout with the kit Bunnies, Bees and the Bird's Big Balloon by Lorie Davison. She created some really nice inside the house papers and elements. These elements have awesome shadows! I'm always so happy that she ads them to her elements. The layouts is looking more realistic than with the normal shadows you get in Photoshop.
Lorie Davison has a brand new kit in the store! Bunnies, Bees and the Bird's Big Balloon! Only Lorie can think of such a name! It's available at Scrapbookgraphics.com.
